Lawn Mowing Service

Our lawn care service includes mowing the entire yard, line trimming (weed-whacker) around all trees, posts, fences, mail boxes, etc.  We edge all the sidewalks, patios, and driveways and clean debris from property.  You have the option of having your grass bagged (no matter what size property) or mulched.  Mulching the grass is good for your lawn, however, there are times when mulching the grass can cause problems.  For example, if your grass has Creeping Charlie or some other invasive weed, mulching the grass can rapidly spread the weeds creating a much worse problem.  We can assist if you are wondering which service is right for your lawn.

We offer both weekly and bi-weekly lawn care.  We recommend weekly lawn care service if you use a fertilization program, choose the mulching grass option, or wish to thicken and improve the appearance of your lawn.  We will be happy to provide FREE estimates in a timely manner.

Bush Trimming Service

We trim all different types of shrubs and hedges.(Boxwood, Yew, Roses, Flowering & Non-flowering bushes, etc).  Aside from the obvious advantages in appearance to the plant, proper trimming can reduce the possibility of fungus, aid in the distribution of sun light throughout the bush, and keep the bush or hedge from overgrowing the space in which it is located.  Different hedges require trimming at different times of the year in order to not damage the plant.  We can help you identify which bush types you would like trimmed and the appropriate time of year to trim.

Flower Service

We provide flower bed maintenance through weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly hand-weeding of your flower beds.  At Rinella Lawn Care we are excellent at distinguishing weeds from flowers.  So do not worry that your tomato sprouts might be mistaken for weeds or that your Hostas may be crushed.  We carefully hand weed ensuring not to damage any existing plants.  We can also take care of any dead heading or planting of flowers that you may need.  We are gardeners ourselves at Rinella Lawn Care and understand how much work goes into getting your garden exactly the way you like it.

Mulch Flower Beds

Properly applying mulch in your flower beds makes them look great, holds in soil moisture, provides nutrients as it decays, helps inhibit weed growth and germination, keeps plant roots cooler in the summer, and keeps plant roots warmer in winter by shielding them from our devastating cold temperatures.

We can show samples of different mulch types to help you in choosing your perfect mulch color and texture.  Next just tell us the thickness of mulch you want applied and we will determine how much mulch is necessary to achieve those results based off of the square footage of your garden beds.

Leaf Removal

Our leaf removal service involves removing all the leaves from the lawn and flower beds.  We recommend you schedule this at the same time as a lawn mowing.  By mowing and bagging the leaves we can typically reduce the time involved in removing all the leaves from your lawn.

Flower Bed Edging

We will use a blade edger to create nice clean lines around your flower beds and remove any left over debris.  We also can create or widen flower beds.

Spring/Fall Clean up

These two services are the official "waking up" and "putting to bed" for your yard and gardens.  Spring and fall cleanups differ depending on the obstacles involved but ususually consist of removing dead plants, broken branches that fell, pruning plants down for winter, removal of waste and plant debri from property, etc.
